You might have seen the new color trend on the runways this summer: color blocking. You have probably also noticed that some stars have done the trend correctly and other stars have not. If you want to follow this trend then there are some things to consider before pairing a wild color with another. The first thing that you need to consider is that the color blocking trend is not likely to last through fall so do not go out of you way to follow this trend. The trend is not likely to last because color blocking is all about bright, bold colors. Which is perfect for the summer, but will fade as the weather changes. However, if you want to follow the trend for one important evening then go for it. When you are trying out this trend it is important to remember that color blocking and patterns do not go together. Color blocking is all about pairing one solid, bright color with another. Also, when pairing two colors together make sure the colors compliment each other rather than compete with each other. Think of pairing oranges paired with a bright purple or a light blue. But do not pair greens and yellows, that would not be pretty.
